My Story
Hello, my name is Alma Garcia. I am the creator of Simple Gifts Gallery. I am blessed to be a work-at-home-mom. I stepped out in faith five years ago after working 40 hours, week after week and getting home after 7pm. You see, we live in the country. Although I was blessed to have a job and caring, supportive employers, I wanted to homeschool my two youngest children. The Lord blessed and we made the sacrifice and He made the way. I love and enjoy homeschooling and my kids, now 14 and 17, are doing very well.
Living on one income is not always easy and my faithful husband, being self-employed, has carried the burden by himself, I decided that I needed to do something from home that would benefit the family income. What else but to do something that I love and it's fun! It was a challenge but worth all the while. I love candles, I love receiving gifts and I love giving gifts. Why not put all these together and have a gift shop......the possibilities are endless. I created Simple Gifts Gallery. I bring to you an assortment of 100% natural soy candles. In the future, I plan to bring you an assortment of hand lotions, shampoos and conditioners made of soybeans. Look for it!
I also create photographic artwork. These will be up and running very soon. Sit back and relax with a hot cup of cocoa or tea and browse my shop. I know you'll find something you like. These will make perfect gifts for your family, friends or someone very special. Or, just splurge on yourself!
